Almaty has hosted a forum featuring local party offices of the “Nur Otan” People’s Democratic Party. Nurlan Nigmatulin, first deputy chairman, “Nur Otan” People’s Democratic Party has said the role of these offices is invaluable as they play the main role in implementing the tasks of the head of the state. He also added the party plans to activate the work on training and re-training of staff for such offices. Special educational centers will begin functioning in all regions of the country.

- Such small divisions of the party are the centres of political work in the regions. It is here where party initiatives are formed. The leader of our party has repeatedly pointed out that he wants Nur Otan members who need to mobilize society and party-mates for the elaboration and implantation of the tasks of the forth-coming decade and in fact, to be in charge of this work and make it their programme. In this regard, the key role is played by local party offices.

Today, over 6500 local party offices of “Nur Otan” are in operation all over the Republic. While at the forum, “Nur Otan” members also summarised the results of the “Local party office of the year”. The jury announced the winners as being Lokomotiv JSC, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and “Rakhat” confectionary.
