After a stop for repair the Atyrau oil refinery plans to produce scheduled volume of automobile gasoline, up to 2.5 000 tons per day. Having filled the local filling stations the plant workers sent the first consignment of high-octane gasoline to other regions of the country. Without interrupting the production cycle, the plant begins reconstruction of the company, the necessity of which was arisen during direct link with the head of state. Atyrau’s petrol stations have no more problems with gasoline and the prices for fuel stabilized. One liter of high AI-92 produced in Russia is sold for 93 tenge, and Kazakhstani - for 75 tenge. Such a choice for motorists appeared after the repair was completed at the local refinery.

Talgat Baitaziyev, director general of Atyrau oil refinery:
- By today, all the installation works in the technological regime. We are ready to load daily from 2 to 2.5 000 tons of gasoline of 80th. And we supply with fuel not only our region but also provide fuel Almaty region and Astana.

Talgat Baitaziyev says plant functioned even during the repair and the workers plan to send about 100 000 tons of fuel before the end of the year to many regions. The plant will be reconstructed.

- An important component of a 10-year program of industrialization is deep processing of our raw resources, including oil and gas. Expansion and reconstruction of the Atyrau oil refinery for producing a large range of oil products and lubricants, oils, which are necessary for Kazakhstan is planned. This will be done to improve the quality of petroleum products, bring them to the Euro-3 standard, Euro-4 and receive gasoline, paraxylene, which are in demand on the international market.

After the reconstruction of Atyrau oil refinery, processing of crude oil will be increased from 4 to 5 million tons per year. And the main thing, it will be possible to produce large volumes of gasoline, aviation fuel and other petroleum products that are in demand on national and foreign markets.
